  1. Valid nationality passport with a minimum validity of 6 months.
  2. A commitment statement to be fulfilled within 90 days after arrival, including one of the following options:
    • Depositing funds of US$130,000 in an account at a state-owned bank (non-withdrawable as long as the visa is active), or;
    • Purchasing property in Indonesia (apartment/flat) valued at US$1,000,000
  3. Latest color photograph
  4. Proof of living expenses of at least US$ 2,000 or equivalent

Specifically for ex-Indonesian citizens who want to obtain this 5-years visa, you need to provide a commitment statement of (you can choose one):

  • Purchase Indonesian government bonds valued at US$50,000.
  • Acquire shares of publicly listed companies in Indonesia worth US$50,000.
  • Invest in mutual funds in Indonesian companies with a value of US$50,000.

As well as providing documents that prove that the Foreigner is a first or second-degree descendant of an Indonesian citizen, such as Birth certificate, Family card, or Marriage certificate.
