Indonesia Multiple Entry Visa

A Multiple Entry Visa is a visa category that grants the holder the privilege of making multiple entries and exits into and from a specific country within a defined timeframe. This contrasts with a Single Entry Visa, which permits only a single entry.

This type of visa is particularly advantageous for individuals who possess a legitimate need to make frequent visits to a specific country. It is imperative to comprehend the precise regulations and prerequisites associated with this visa to ensure a seamless and hassle-free travel experience. Below are essential details pertaining to the Indonesia Multiple Entry Visa:

Validity Period

Indonesian Multiple Entry Visas (previously indexed D212) are typically issued with validity periods of 1 year, 2 years, or 5 years. However, it is essential to note that the duration of stay is limited to 60 days per visit.

Benefits

The Multiple Entry Visa offers notable benefits to individuals who require frequent travel to Indonesia for purposes such as business engagements, family visits, or other legitimate reasons. It streamlines the process and eliminates the need to apply for a new visa for each visit.

Purpose

Multiple Entry Visas can be issued for various purposes, such as conducting business meetings, visiting relatives, or participating in governmental activities. It is often referred to as the Multiple Entry Business Visa. However, Immigration Authorities now provide Multiple Entry Visa for other purposes, such as tourism, transit, filming, pre-investment, medical treatment, audit, quality control, or inspection.

It is important to emphasize that this visa type is not intended for employment or income-generating activities. Violating the designated purpose of this visa may result in administrative sanctions, penalties, or deportation.

Overview
  • The Multiple Entry Visa is issued electronically, enabling direct travel to Indonesia without prior visits to Indonesian representatives abroad.
  • Please be mindful to avoid overstaying your visa. Should your stay in Indonesia exceed the staying permit validity, you will be subject to an overstay penalty of IDR 1 million per day.
